・Circulating Natural Cultivation
The Republic of Uganda is an equatorial country in eastern Africa facing Lake Victoria, which is the origin of the Nile. Rich biodiversity such as various species of wild animal can be seen in this country, so it is referred to as “Hot spot”. In fact, farming and animal industry has a long history.“Grate Rift Valley” is a huge valley running eastern Africa from South to North and Albertine Rift Valley is getting attention recently as “Origin of Homo sapience” that foster evolution of many species with a volume of life energy and biodiversity. The world’s most populous animals and plants are living in the Republic of Uganda since it receive blessing of life energy derives Albertine Rift Valley. The Republic of Uganda have a number of national park to keep rich biodiversity and tourists visit there so often.Acholi tribe, a native inhabitants cultivate organic cotton in primitive way (no agrichemicals or chemical fertilizer) in area of Murchison Falls National Park without harming wild animals.The United Kingdom colonized the Republic of Uganda more than a hundred years ago. Native famers were forced to cultivate cotton as a supplier of material (cotton) and the products shored up industrialization of the United Kingdom. It is said that colonizer let people work as slaves for a plantation and some of them were sold to Europe by mideastern slave trader. Cotton farming is considered as symbolic specialty of the Republic of Uganda, but Ugandans know that it has both light and dark history. But now, recently, Uganda organic cotton cultivated primitively in northern Uganda is outstanding as sustainable cash cropping project which protects biodiversity and supports livings with its high added value.Farmers in northern Uganda have passed down the mind of nature symbiosis and employed circulating natural cultivation not to damage nature in farming of organic cotton.


・Mid-Long Length Cotton
Uganda Organic Cotton is classified mid-long length cotton. Fiber length measures 29~32 inch, and variety of cotton products can be made with this raw material. Bulk, elasticity, and smooth touch are leading features of it.


・Organic Certificate
Uganda organic cotton is certificated for organic international standards in all process such as soil, seed, and cultivation.
